SPARE TIME HOUDINI PROJECT

After a great week of training in Houdini with Simon Fiedler I made this piece to test the Houdini C4D Workflow.

The mesh was created entirely in Houdini. Then exported to C4D and then shaded and rendered in Octane.

I used Dirt (mostly as mask) to get the destinction between metal and the organic looking parts.
The scene is lit with 3 area lights.



Tech Specs:
Generated in Houdini
Textured shaded lit and rendered in Octane C4D.
Rendered in 4K 4096 X 2160 px.
Render time was around 10min on 3 GTX 980ti
