"CHINESE TEA"

This is the 2nd deep dive into  Blender. And boy oh boy did I learn a lot. Its so thrilling to expand in a new 3D package. You can use a lot of your preexisting knowledge but there also are so much new things in there that you constantly have to develop your thinking about how stuff is working.

Choosing a topic for my new artwork I thought of something I would enjoy right now. It turns out in those troubled times I wand something relaxing and calming. Something for your soul. So I decided the topic to be a Chinese tea ceremony.

I did some more or less extended Research on different Chinese as well as Japanese tea ceremonies and the production process and the different forms of the tea ware. So I decided to do a Yixing tea set in the Gong Fu style made from Zhuni clay.

This time I decided to sorely rely on Blender when it comes to the 3D Part. So I did all the modeling in Blender and all the texturing, shading and lighting in Cycles.

SIMULATION
I used Animation nodes to position the leaves in that cube and simulated them from there.
Later I used another animation nodes setup to replace the simulated leaves with instances.
